If you’ve been following along on here or in Instagram, you’ll know that I went to the London Fashion Week Festival this year. It’s an extravaganza of fashion, selfies, fashionista types, talks, catwalk shows and loads and loads of shopping. And actually, some really great deals on designer wear. Some of you were asking me here, and on Instagram what I bought, so this is what this post is all about… 

Even the shopping bags are stylish at LFWFestival!

So first up is this, a little haul from the Maybelline stand, which was the only makeup brand featured there this year. I love Maybelline because they’re always fun and innovative, and at the price point they offer, you can try new things without breaking the bank. Here I picked up their Maybelline 24 Karat Nudes Eye Shadow Palette £10 because you can never have too many of those… (Nudes? Well, there are some nudes in there, but it’s more beautiful luxe golds and smokey eye colours fit for an Egyptian queen, but I’m ok with that). I also picked up a Baby Lips Balm & Blush, in 02 Flirty Pink because I’ve never tried anything from the range before, and every one RAVES about it. And a  Color Drama Intense Lip Paint Never Bare Down 110 £4.99, just for fun. I love new lip things, this one is like a gloss but with more intense colour. It’s not like you can ever have too many lip products!

But here’s where the haul gets just a little more decadent.

A delicate and whimsical Rose Gold Unicorn Necklace from Estella Bartlett. These were such a steal, and who isn’t into all things unicorn right now? Those of you who know me will know I often wear a gold bee on a chain, now I have the matching little charm bracelet in yellow gold and silver , the Laila Bee Bracelet in Gold. So pretty! The bracelets retail from £15 and the necklace from £19 on their site. I love these, because you can wear a few of them at once and create a look, or wear one alone. They’re a cool collectors piece.

Her Curious Nature. This designer is my new favourite thing! So many beautiful and decadent one off peices, and all of them embellished with flowers, stones and beads. So so beautiful, I wanted to buy everything! And starting at just £10, you’re going to find something for any budget. It all has a luxe and vintage type feel, so it’s not like any of their items will go out of fashion, and they’re prices were quite reasonable. And no two items are the same because they’re all handmade… turbans, brooches, hair pieces, clips, earrings, all kinds of things. And of course, princessy head bands like this one. It was so hard to choose just one thing! Find them on their website HERE for more details. You’ll also be able to find them in limited Topshop stores.

Of course, most of you will know that every year, a tote bag is given out to attendees, with a design by a famous fashion personality or designer. This year, Viviene Westwood turned her pen to the canvas and made a political statement about climate change. Always one to make a statement and never to shy away from controversy, it’s a cool statement, and also has a great little pocket inside for a water bottle or your wallet, so it’s within easy reach. A cool piece of fashion memorabilia and functional too!
