Who doesn’t love a bit of old school 80’s glam now and then? When I bought this dress from Boohoo.com, I wasn’t sure at first if I like it or not, and then I threw it on the other day and fell in love with how old school and power shoulders it is. Teamed with big hair and retro earrings, you can’t go wrong.

I picked this elastic pink bow belt up from a selection on EBay UK, it was el cheapo but I like it. It’s fun. These earrings are gold glo-mesh and were stolen from my mother, like to many of her earrings, that she used to wear in the 80’s.

My hair is naturally pretty big, so I have no major tips for you there. But if you have a bold 80’s shoulder pad going on, I say bold make up is a wonderful thing too. This lipstick is from Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick in Cheeky Coral £6.99, it looks more pink in these images, but it’s a nice wearable coral. Coral feels like a nicely retro shade to me.

Big sunglasses? These are from Marc By Marc Jacobs (approx £119, but you can find them on sale online). I love these pink ones, unusual shape and style.

Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Decadent £8.99 is the perfect eyeshadow. It’s shades of pink, gold and brown, and is so flattering. And the name is perfect! I also recommend Nars Orgasm Blush £23, it’s the perfect natural flushed cheek colour, and a classic for a reason.
