OOTD: Burgundy makeup and Halloween style.

This year was a rather laid back Halloween for me. I didn’t go all out with a costume or go to any parties, but I do love Halloween style, so I dressed up a little. My boyfriend, my cat Grimoire and I watched some fun Halloween movies, decorated cookies and ate a really nice meal. I really do love this time of year, it’s so cozy and I love all things scary and spooky.

This t shirt dress is from Boohoo.com. It was £4, which is insane. I love Boohoo for Halloween, they have some really cute and funny clothes and accessories, and even makeup. You can shop the look HERE, though it’s currently out of stock. These earrings are some old classic black chandeliers that I love. You can find similar HERE or HERE.

This eyeshadow is The Burgundy Bar from Maybelline, which I’m kind of obsessed with right now. You can do so so much with it. It’s got a little guide on the back, so you can use the 12 different colours as quads, tripes or duo shades, or play with it your own way. Get your hands on the Maybelline Burgundy Bar HERE for £10.45. This necklace is a vintage paste one a picked up in a vintage store, but you can find a similar one on Etsy HERE or HERE.

I think the burgundy colours are really flattering. This palette was the official makeup of Autumn/Winter London Fashion Week this year. This lipstick is a dark blackberry shade which looks slightly pinker here than in the flesh. It’s Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate in 30, which you can get HERE for £6.00. With a strong look like this, it’s easy to look washed out, but Nars Orgasm blush HERE £30 , gives a healthy and really natural looking flush to cheeks. (Sleek does a pretty close shade for £3.60 HERE)

The shoes for this outfit are patent leather and suede heels from Sergio Todzi. I couldn’t find these for sale online anywhere for you to link, but I did Google witchy shoes, which came up with some really fun and gorgeous options. These fishnets are from Primark, £2.50. I love Primark tights and stockings.

This nail polish is Cowshed Cheeky Chat Me Up nail paint in Cop-per Feel, which actually looks like a metallic pumpkin spice shade, rather than copper. I love it for autumn. Get your hands on it HERE, for £3 (on sale, normally £8)

  1. Of course I’m no expert on these things but I think the make-up her was a particularly strong combination with your current hair and black outfit. Shoes looked cool. What did you boyfriend think? Which is not to say that I hope you liked it too since that is the most opinion.
