Trash Panda: Raccoon OOTD and Colorpop Monochrome MOTD

Vancouver recently hosted it’s Car Free Day in various locations around town, and not only was it really fun, but I came across local maker The Dolly Shop, who designs and makes mens and women’s tops and hoodies with great hand drawn images on them. I love this raccoon top, and couldn’t wait to share it with you. And since my latest Colorpop order also arrived, it seemed like the perfect outfit/makeup combination.

I get that not everyone loves raccoons, but as someone who comes from Australia (via the UK) these cute animals are pretty hilarious. The details of the image drawn is really beautiful and real looking, and this top was only $25 but is really soft and excellent quality. (I picked up these faux pearl strands for an insane $2 at the festival too.) If you like the look of these designs, head to: https://thedollyshop.com/collections/all and check out their stuff, including some truly wonderful retro magnets.

I felt like this top needed a bold, fun look, so I went with pink up to the brows like it was the 80’s and a strong fuschia lip colour. This is the Colorpop It’s My Pleasure palette, which is all monochrome purples and some pinkish purple. I’ve seen some truly amazing looks done with this palette, and I keep trying out different things with it. Like all Colorpop palettes, it’s super pigmented, so I had to play with it a bit and actually took it all off once or twice and started over.

Here, I did Kittenfish up to the brow bone with Fan Fiction in the crease and Sleeper in the outer corner. Then in the lid some Pretty Cool and Earthshine. https://colourpop.com/products/its-my-pleasure to shop, $12USD

The lip colour is Meleficent from the Disney Villains Collection. This lip colour is great! I thought that it might be too bold for me or too purple, but I actually really love it. It’s quite rosey and you can have it blotted or full, becuase it’s creamy but the color payoff is epic. So this is now one of my new favorite things. The packaging is also so fun. https://colourpop.com/products/maleficent

If you’ve tried this palette or other of the Colorpop Monochrome, let me know, I’d love to see what you did with them. Also, I highly recommend you check out the Dolly Shop for their fun and playful designs.
