Writing a reading list…

So, I don’t really do New Years resolutions, mostly because I feel like they’re more guilt inducing than anything. But at the start of the year I do set goals.

I like them to be fun, rewarding and achievable… Something that adds to your life and makes you extend yourself in some way.

So, this year when I wrote my reading goals for the year, I asked my friends for their favourite books, and I’ve compiled them all in a list to read over the course of the year, hopefully to expand what I read somewhat, and stop myself from getting into any reading ruts.

The list has everything from George Orwell, Murakami, to Neil Gaiman and Tom Clancy. I’m overly excited!

Last year my list was the works of Allende, Dickens and Conan Doyle ( the books I hadn’t already read, I mean!)
