All the basics for a flawless look, whether that’s a casual Sunday brunch or a full-on date night look. These are some essentials.
Pictured here are:
Earrings: Gorgeous pearl drops from a selection online at AzureAllure on Etsy, purchase HERE These are a steal, and handmade by a seller who is super professional and speedy on the postage.
Perfume: Chanel No. 5, of course.
Base: Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel Multi-Use Illuminating Base, if this isn’t already on your make up shelf, it should be! It’s magic. I always get loads of compliments about my skin, and I use a tiny bit of this as a base under my foundation, it perfects, smoothes and gives a hint of illumination and makes my foundation last all day. Sometimes with it on, I don’t even need more makeup! You can also use it as a high lighter over foundation. It’s epic. And a tiny bit goes a long way, it’ll last you for aaaages.
Foundation: Diorskin Forever in 020. I’m quite pale so it took me a while to find a make up that looked really natural on my skin. I use a Chanel powder, but my foundation is this guy right here. I love it. I use a tiny bit and it gives me a flawless, beautiful, natural look. It’s genius.
Liner: Borjois Mega Liner in Dark Black (Extra Large). This lasts for 24 hours, can you believe that? I just picked this up the other day because I find that sometimes it’s easier to use a pen shaped liquid liner, (though I often use a pot and liner brush). This one has the Extra Large felt tip, which you can use to get a dramatic, smooth line. I’m a fan.
Lipstick: Guerlain Rouge G in 21 Gala. I’m a massive fan of the classic red lip, especially in a vintage cherry red. This one from Guerlain is one of my favourites for going out because the bullet has a double mirror built right into it. It goes on really creamy and keeps your lips soft, never dries them out, and you feel like a movie star when you pull it out for touch ups. I also find that this particular red suits everyone.
Eyeshadow Pallette: Stila Eyes are the Window Palette in Spirit. I’ve featured this on Instagram before, because I love it. It was a gift from my sister in law, who is awesome. If you’ve never used Stila before, you’re missing out. I love using this palette to create natural looks, smokey eyes, mixing and matching and trying things out. You can do loads with it. There are three different ones in the range, perhaps I’m biased, but I think this one is the best.
