I first came across Daniel Sandler’s products when I picked up a blue eyeliner from his range, for something fun and Summer-y. The colour is pretty stunning and it went on like a dream, but what really blew me away was the quality. When it says on the side “Long Lasting Waterproof” it really means it! It lasted, didn’t budge and was vibrant and easy to use. I became a huge fan.
The Daniel Sandler aesthetic is all about products that are flattering and easy to use, bringing out a woman’s natural beauty. ( HERE is his website, you can make a purchase or take a look at one of the fabulous tutorials) Lisa Eldridge and Pixiwoo are huge fans, and the products have won the Cosmo Best Blusher and Best Brushes awards, and the Cosmetic Executive Women Award for lipstick.
The Radiant Glow Illuminating Face Powder £28, is a best seller, it can be swept over cheeks, or used on the eyes to give a healthy light to the face, pick yours up HERE. It’s not just the products, though. Daniel Sandler himself is really lovely, knowledgeable and professional. He’s the kind of guy who you want to see succeed, because he cares about his products and about the people who wear them. He’s an absolute doll! I caught up with him and he answered a few questions…
The passion is something that was already inside me, being a creative person. I’ve always enjoyed painting and drawing so make up is just my preferred medium . I love that make up allows transformations to happen in front of your very eyes. I love that make up can change the way someone looks which then affects the way they feel about themselves.
I prefer women to look naturally glamorous and that they receive comments about how fantastic they look rather than how fantastic their make up is because then it would be all about the make up rather than the person. I have created products for women of all ages that enhance a woman’s beauty rather than appear mask-like.
Yes. We live in a world where we are constantly fed images of perfectly beautiful people whether it be in magazines, in movies or on social media. Those images also say that looking perfect makes you popular. Everybody wants to be attractive and liked so both sexes from a very early age want to fit in and be accepted by society and therefore if they don’t feel they look good, sexy and cool then this creates low self-esteem and feeds insecurity.
