Roses are my absolute favourite flower. I guess that that is kind of a cheesey old fashioned choice, but I don’t care. I love them. I love how decadent they are, and all the variety in size and colour that they come in. They’re classic, romantic, and the scented ones are divine. So any products that are rose scented go down very well with me.
It’s become a bit of a tradition at Christmas that my boyfriend picks me up some rose scented body or beauty products, and the ones from The Body Shop are divine. They have two ranges that I like, with a full compliment of products, from soaps and lotions to body washes and body sprays. And you can pick up something from their range starting at about £4. You can find their UK website HERE.
Although I like their Atlas Mountain Rose range, and I had the body butter last year (which I can recommend), this year I fell in love with the British Rose, the scent is slightly different: richer, stronger, a bit more decadent. So I asked Santa to put some British Rose Body Butter £15 for 200mL HERE and British Rose Shower Gel £5 for 250mL HERE in my Christmas stocking. You can also get some great gift packs with a few different products in them.
The body butter is designed to give you a healthy glow and infuse your skin with 24 hours of moisture. And I think it does, I love the way it smells, and it has stopped my skin from drying out this winter. And I love clicking open the shower gel and breathing in the scented steam in the shower. So lovely.
I’ll be buying more from this range, I think, when I need a little treat. I love that the Body Shop has an ethical policy, so you can’t buy guilt free knowing that it’s all natural ingredients, sustainably sourced and not tested on animals. Find their UK store HERE. (And just a note, the hair clips in the top image are from New Look.)
