This week, a brand that I hadn’t come across before reached out to me and asked me if I’d like to trial and review their eyeliner with you. Esqido is a brand known for it’s beautiful false lashes, and they’re promoting their eyeliner, which is currently on sale. In Canadian dollars, this Gel Eyeliner is $18 and you can purchase or take a look HERE

This gel eyeliner comes in black or brown. I opted to try the brown, because I think it’s a great shade for those of us with hair on the lighter shade of the spectrum. It’s a softer option than black. I’ve got a few pencil type liners, and I quite like them. This one has a gel texture, which means it glides on and the end has a little sharpener so you don’t end up with a blunt tip. It’s easy to use becuase it glides on neatly and it’s a smudge proof formula, so it lasted me all day and night. It’s also waterproof, which I like becuase Vancouver is a rainy city. I felt like it stayed put but I was also happy that it wasn’t hard to remove when I took my makeup off at night.

Esqido prides itself on being cruelty free, which is something that’s important to me too. The packaging feels neat and fresh and the gold touches make it feel a bit lux. It felt strong, like it wouldn’t fall apart or break easily, which mean it will survive in your makeup bag or the bottom of your handbag. I’m pretty happy with the product, I think it’s a good gel eyeliner.
Thank you Esqido for sending me this gel eyeliner for review. All opinions are my own honest ones. If you’d like to know more about the brand Esqido can take a look at Esqido HERE.
