A Walk In The Park: OOTD

There’s still plenty of green in those leaves, but more and more there are reds, oranges and yellows too. Stanley Park is great this time of year. The tourist season is over and people are back to business, so there are less people around, and the animals and birds are preparing for the colder months. It’s very calm and though you will see other people, it’s a lot more chilled out than Summer.

The seasonal coffees are all back in now too, the pumpkin spice and hazelnuts and even the smore frappucino. There’s a Starbucks on the way down from our flat, so we pick up a latte or a tea to keep our hands cozy. Also, since it’s officially Fall/Autumn, I’ve started to wear the deeper nail colours. A nice ripe appke red with a bronze undertone feels just right.

This time of year, brown just doesn’t feel boring. I’m still using my Colourpop bronze tone eyeshadow palette, but now I’ve pulled out my Autumn jackets. This one is soft and cozy, and I feel like it’s just right for the transition months. It has a cute belt to cinch in the waist too. Jeans and low boots and my classic brown Guess bag tie it all together. Soon, t shirts will be too light weight, and I quite like the days when I need a soft chunky knit.

After the bustle and excitement of Summer beach days and the long nights, it’s nice to slow down and drink a cozy coffee and it feels like you can almost watcht the leaves turn.

After posting some of these photos on Instagram, a few people asked me what kind of coffee I drink. I actually had a latte that day. But it made me wonder, who out there orders a Pumpkin Spice Latte or something else that’s fun and seasonal? Let me know in the comments. It doesn’t have to be from Starbucks, of course. Or let me know what you love about this time of year.
