Beauty Trend: Moisture Mist with Elizabeth Arden, Garnier, Caudalie and Pixi.

One of the biggest trends that I’ve noticed this year in beauty is the introduction of Moisture Mists. They’re big business, and each brand has it’s own take on them. Use them before you moisturise or during the day over makeup, just spritz them onto your face for the ultimate healthy, moisturised, dewy skin.

Each one makes different promises, and has it’s own angle, so I thought I’d share with you the ones I own and that I think are the top, and what they’re all about. From Caudalie and Garnier, to Pixi and Elizabeth Arden, there’s one for you.

The Healthy Glow: Pixi Skintreats Glow Mist £16

Cult beauty brand Pixi, with it’s beautiful soft green packaging and gorgeous products, is huge right now. If you’re into skincare, you probably know their bestseller Glow Tonic. They’ve run with that concept and created this Glow Mist, with Propolis and Argan Oil (such a popular ingredient right now). This contains 21 oils natural oils, aloe vera and fruit extracts to nourish, hydrate and protect skin. Used under your makeup, it gives a protective and moisturising layer. You can also spray it on to set makeup and make sure it lasts all day. After that, tuck it in your bag and take it with you for added glow and to refresh your makeup. Get yours HERE.

The Skin Savior: Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Multi-Protecting Hydrating Mist £9.99

If you haven’t tried the Moisture Bomb range from Garnier, you should. I think it feels so refreshing, especially on tired, dry skin. This one is great for those of you with sensitive skin as well. Again, you can use it over or under makeup. This one has a little extra hydration, and also focuses on protecting skin from free radicals, it has anti-pollution and anti-oxidant properties, with SPF 30 protection as well. This one is, I think, great for Summer. Use is under makeup to protect skin, and keep it tucked in your bag to protect your skin from the sun, with that SPF and moisturising properties. Very cool. Get yours HERE.

The Gentle Scented Favourite: Caudalie Beauty Elixir £12

I love Caudalie so much, their products work, and they smell and feel divine. I plan on sharing more about their new VinoActiv range with you in a later post, but this is their version of the moisture mist, and it’s my favourite one here. Again, spritz before moisturiser and anytime during the day, for a beauty boost. Makeup artists are lauding it as a setting spray as well, after foundation and before powder for a lasting, gorgeous look. It leaves your skin radiant, eases the look of fine lines, protects skin, and tightens pores. It also smells so beautiful, delicate and refreshing. I really, really love it. It feels decadent, and makes your skin feel divine. LOVE. Get your hands on your little glass bottle of beautiful skin HERE.

The Twist On A Classic: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist

I think everyone knows Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream, which has been a beauty constant since the 1930’s. The amount of products in the range keeps growing, and now you can add to that a moisture mist! This one packs all the punch of eight hours of moisture, refreshing your skin with health. I think it’s one of the best ones out there. I only have a little sample size, as you can see above, but I love the way it soaks into the skin immediately. It really has boosted the health of my skin, I think. You can spritz this one on after cleansing and toning, and use it again throughout the day, as needed, for fresh, happy, healthy skin and eight hours of moisture. This one is available in the US on Elizabeth Arden’s site HERE for $19USD. I can’t find it on a UK site yet, but look out for it soon.

So there you have it, the new trend in Moisture Mists, and my favourite picks of the whole bunch. I think these are a great addition to your beauty care routine, and I love how they feel, so refreshing. I think it’s also great that you can use them in different ways, and I feel like my skin has benefited from the addition of them to my makeup bag. What do you think? Have you tried these?
