Trend Setter: Bronze Eyeliner and Soft Pink Knits.

Eyeliner is a wonderful thing. It flatters the eye, enlarging and giving flutter or creating a classic vintage elegance. Depending on what you do with it. One thing I love right now is the fusion of the liquid line with the metallics trend. Bronze eyeliner is so soft and flattering, and adds a little twist to your look. Here I teamed it with the perfect spring pink lip shade and a soft Valetines worthy knit. But you can as easily add it to your rock chick or modernist makeup arsenal. Read on for the details…

You can do a few different things with liquid liners, of course, but I like to do an old school cat like flick. But if it’s not your style, you can line and create some smokey looks too. Here, Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Brown Out (which is a bronze shimmer shade). (There’s a also a really popular liquid liner from Maybelline which is a good alternative, Ultra Liquid Liner in Bronze Paradise) I kept the look soft by using soft white gold and fawn eye shadow shades on the rest of the eye to define it.

If you are looking for the perfect Spring pink, one that’s going to go with a lot, isn’t too nude and is flattering and has just a little edge… well, this is it. Get your hands on Chanel Rouge Allure Lip Gloss in Affriolant £28. It glides on, has a full colour that you can build a little if you want to, and it hydrates and protects lips like a balm. At £28 it’s not cheap, but Max Factor Elixir Lip Gloss in Enchanting Coral is a personal favourite too.

I love LOVE soft knits when it’s cold. These knits with the deep lace up V in the back have been everywhere over the winter. I think they’re really flattering and allow you to show a little something without freezing to death. You can find a similar pink on at Forever 21 £45 or on Missguided £43 (on sale right now for £17)

Of course, to tie it all together, the perfect accessories. I love the trend for tassel earrings. These ones in grey, which I got from Etsy, you can get your hands on pretty much everywhere at the moment (these ones on Amazon are super cheap and really similar). Rose gold necklace with unicorn charm is from from Estella Bartlett, £19.

  1. Madame Vintage

You look beautiful as always. The soft pastel colours really suit your whole look. I love the jumper as it is something I would purchase too and you wear it very well. Bronze eyeliner is a great chlice too, subtle but bold enough to compliment your eyes in the glamourous vintage way.
